Storm in Sweden helps tsunami reconstruction

In a record hurricane-force storm last winter, 150 million of Sweden's fir and pine trees were taken out. Logging crews worked for nine months to salvage the wood, much of which is now stacked forty feet tall at a former air base. But much of it was also sent to Southeast Asia, where "98% of the raw construction lumber used for rebuilding efforts in Thailand and Indonesia has come from Swedish timber!"
